Amastuola Estate is one of its kind due to its landscape made of vine rows positioned as parallels and waves throughout the vineyards. On the plateau of Amastuola, ancients Greeks started growing grapes over 3000 years ago. Now in the capable hands of Giuseppe Montanaro, he mixes historical traditions with innovation. He allows Mediterranean native varieties to grow in harmony with the terroir and in the total respect of the environment and the surrounding ecosystem.

Deep ruby crimson, bright with violet undertones. A primitivo that bursts onto the nose with flavours of sour cherry, purple violets, and tiny berries that mingle nicely with Amastuola’s unique saline and mineral aromas. On the tongue, it’s rich, delicate, and finely grained, with notes of fruit and minerality. Finally, it is lengthy, with a fruitiness that returns….in a word, harmonic.
