Arcano Ribera del Duero Accentus 2020

A single vineyard on a hill (Somonte) with a single Tempranillo clone. Organic vineyard that receives no irrigation and collects less than 400 litres of rain per year. Handpicked in October 2020, the grapes are table sorted before undergoing a week of cold maceration, then fermented with natural yeasts and minimal intervention. The wine embodies Arcano’s desire to produce wine from grapes in the most natural way possible. Colour is a deep purple crimson. It has notes of juicy red fruit, as one would expect from a Tempranillo. The palate has a wonderful fruit intensity and a lot of freshness.
