ARRAN SCO SMALT PORT CASK 100

Matured initially in Bourbon Barrels for 6-7 years before being finished in fresh Tawny Port casks for a minimum of 9 months. Well balanced and powerful with notes of hazelnut, strawberry jam and mandarin oranges. Arran single malt is perfectly complimented by the complexity of the Port cask.

Tasting Notes:
This whisky is a deep bronze color. Aromas of vanilla spice, ripe citrus, dried fruits and nuttiness. With a splash of water, more depth of mandarin citrus with fudge and honeyed notes. Flavors of spice, bitter orange, chocolate, and cherries.
