Stenope is a unique collaboration between Champagne Devaux & Rhone valley producer Michel Chapoutier, the ethos is to make the finest Champagne every year & the fruit is sourced from the finest vineyards in Les Ricey for the Pinot Noir (52%) & Chardonnay (48%) from Montgueux (known as the Montrachet of the South ) & a small parcel from Cote des Blanc Chouilly planted in 1911. Vinification take place in 300 litre barrels that are produced from the Champagne Ardene region, the Champagne is aged for 10 years on lees dosage is 5 grams.
Elegant & fine nose with floral, white fruit & citrus notes followed by chocolate & roasted almond notes. On the palate creamy notes supported by lemon zest & bergamot, with slightly candied fruits, brioche and warm bread.
