This certified organic and biodynamic family-owned winery in La Caunette, France is truly a family operation. Francoises family goes back about 12 generations in La Caunette so it only made sense when she and her husband Pascal purchased 15 acres there in 2008. Today, the winery consists of 143 acres including many olive groves. Their son Mathias and daughter Sarah joined the team in 2016 and enjoy making natural wines with no additives. Named for the Breton words bread and wine arguably two of lifes essentials, this light-bodied red is made from a blend of 35% Cinsault, 35% Grenache and 30% Syrah.Tasting notes of dark cherries and spice makes this the perfect wine to serve over a meal with friends that includes a bold red pasta sauce or even roasted duck. This wine is best served with a light chill.
