This French winery has deep roots in the Bordeaux region dating back to the 1700s with its winemaking history dating back 1874. The property has had many owners over the years before finally being acquired by Dominique Coutire in 2010. They have a small production and only produce two red wines that make up over 11 hectares on fine gravel and sandy-clay soils. This medium-bodied red is a blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot and is aged in French oak barrels for 14-16 months. With tasting notes of black currant and spice, this wine pairs well with hard cheeses and red meats.
