Bernard Grimard, current owner of Chteau La Croix Des Lamberts, has carefully planted his vines since the 70’s. Grown in clay and limestone soil the vineyard overlooks the Gironde estuary. The vinification is traditional and occurs in stainless steel tanks before spending 16 months in oak barrels. The blend consists of 75% Merlot, 15% Malbec, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose showcases aromas of blackcurrant with notes of vanilla and fresh plum with a ripe finish. This can be paired with cold cuts or meat pies.
