Patrick Bernard takes great care in creating a magnificent wine from hand sorting the grapes to fermenting them in separate tanks to highlight the characteristics of each grape. Wild red fruits, violets, and nutmeg dominate the aroma, with sophisticated notes of tobacco leaf, cardamom, and cocoa nibs on the palate that mingle well with the flavor of ripe red fruit.
