CVNE has been owned by the same family since 1879 and despite its nearly 150 years of winemaking, they have stayed true to tradition while simultaneously implementing innovation and environmentally sustainable farming. Renewable electricity, sustainable packing and water reduction are helping to acheive the vineyard’s goal of zero carbon emissions by 2050. This white wine was registered in 1915, making it the white wine with the oldest registered name in Spain. Made from 100% Viura grapes (also known as Macabeo), they are hand-harvested after being grown on old vines in clay soils. This wine is fruity and floral with tasting notes of white flowers, pineapple and stone fruit this wine pairs well with shellfish and appetizers.
