Domaine Bassac Le Manpot Rouge 2022

Domaine Bassac is a family run winery located in Puisalicon, a small medieval village in the heart of the Languedoc, southern France. The estate is committed to biodynamic and sustainable viticulture, farming organically without synthetic chemicals. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils with patches of gravel which contribute to the structure, minerality and balance characteristic of Languedoc wines.

The Le Manpot Rouge 2022 is a blend of 35% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 15% Syrah. Grapes are hand harvested and fermented with native yeasts, then aged for 12 months in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak barrels to preserve freshness and terroir expression. The wine offers aromas of red berries, subtle spice and earthy notes, with a smooth palate and gentle tannins, pairing beautifully with roasted meats, casseroles and semi-hard cheeses.
