Domaine Bertrand Bachelet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot 2022

The Chassagne-Montrachet appellation is located in the southern part of the Cte de Beaune and produces mainly white wines. The ‘Morgeot’ Cru is located in the south of the village, and it is characterized by compact limestone soil containing iron oxide, which gives the soil its particular red-brown color and the wine a vibrant minerality and tension. This wine offers a golden colour, with a subtle nose of white flowers and honey notes. Full-bodied and well-structured on the palate, luscious to drink now and will reward careful cellaring for at least 8 more years.
