Off of the right bank of the Loire, these grapes are hand harvested from 40 year old vines growing upon sandy, gravelly soils. Les Rouilles presents notes of blackberry, violet, licorice, and strawberry. A glass would go well with Thai Satay Chicken or Veal Scallopini.
