In 1996 the Carparelli Family founded the I Pastini Estate and worked diligently to recover old vines in order to produce wines that properly represented the history of the terroir. After years of this, they finally released their first wine in 2003. This white blend is made of 60% Verdeca, 35% Bianco d’Alessano, and 5% Minutolo. These indigenous varietals have been produced in this area (Puglia, Italy) for thousands of years. The grapes are planted and harvested together to ensure a beautiful balance in the wine. Notes of lemon, straw, and hints of herb cross the palate as you sip. This wine is a perfect aperitif, but also pairs well with olives or light seafood dishes.
