Today, Julien’s French wine estate is practicing organic and biodynamic. The high elevation paired with the region’s rocky, granite soils gives his wines a distinctness. This 100% Gamay has tasting notes of blackberries, plums, and violets. Julien refers to it as an “anytime red,” delicious on its own, but also works when slightly chilled and paired with a charcuterie board.
