Le Morette vineyards, founded by Gino Zenato over 60 years ago, originally started as a farm for vineshoot production until Gino decided to start wine making as well. He named the winery for the Morette, a diving duck that can be seen all over the property and is also depicted on the label. It is a symbol of not only the duck’s elegance, but Zentao’s deep respect for nature and the bond to the land. This easy drinking white wine is made with 100% Turbiana, also commonly known as verdicchio, comes from the Lake Garda region of Italy. Lake Garda was created by a melted glacier and supplies the land with many nutrients as well as maritime influences for the vines. Notes of white apple, citrus and bitter almonds make this wine the perfect pairing for fresh water fish-based dishes, white meats and delicate starters.
