Dominique Joseph, affectionately called “Pelo” by his friends is the fourth generation of wine makers to sit at the helm of Domaine le Petit Saint Vincent. This wine hails from his 13 hectares in the heart of Samur Champigny, all but one of which are devoted to growing Cabernet Franc. Organically farmed and grown in clay and limestone soil, these grapes come from the youngest vines in the vineyard. Vinified and aged entirely in cement, the nose is full of black fruit notes which persist in the mouth along with lightly spiced flavors. Pairs perfectly with barbequed chicken.
