Winemaker Guillaume Reynouard began his career in 1995 with the purchase of a mansion in need of renovation and 4 hectares of Cabernet Franc. Since then, he has expanded to 18 hectares of vineyard, became certified organic in 1998 and certified biodynamic in 2010. ‘Bagatelle’ shows classic Saumur notes of crunchy red raspberry, strawberries and earthy dried herbs, and would be a great companion to corn cakes with fresh tomatoes and dried sage or roast poultry.
