Marcarini Winery has been family owned and operated for 6 generations. They own just over 25 hectares nestled in the town of La Morra in the Langhe. Located just 300m above sea level, the soils here are sandy and rich in fossils and mineral salts. This dry white is 100% Arneis which is notorious for its vines being difficult to cultivate. This is why the wine’s name, Arneis, translates to ‘a bad tempered person’ in the local dialect. With tasting notes of fresh fruit, acacia flowers and honey, this wine can be paired with a mild dish like asparagus risotto or gnocchi alla bava.
