Fausto Gonzalez planted his Tempranillo vines just 12 short years ago, and has brought his dream into reality via Martue, a lively Tempranillo from sustainably farmed grapes. Fermented with inidigenous yeasts and aged for three months in a barrel, ‘Evolution’ contains notes of blackcurrant and rich plum fruits which are framed by soft tannins. These fruity notes then yield to darker notes of cocoa, oak, and mushroom. ‘Evolution’ contains all the right elements for a wonderful paiting with barbecued pork and hearty meat stews.
