Mas Du Novi AOP Languedoc Gres de Montpellier Prestigi 2017

Since the eleventh century, the Mas du Novi, former dependency of the Abbey of Valmagne produces wine on one of the most beautiful exceptional terroirs of the Languedoc. Today this estate of 42 ha of vines cultivated in organic farming, in the middle of 60 ha of woods and scrubland, is one of the references of the Languedoc Grs de Montpellier and IGP Oc.

The estate’s signature cuve bursts with Syrah’s fervour and the fruitiness of Grenache and Mourvdre like pepper and salt. This dark garnet-coloured cuve, based on Syrah and matured in barrels for a year, has a rich scent of ripe fruit, vanilla, and toast. The violet and black fruits are round, sweet, and balanced on the palate, supported by a supple and silky structure.
