Carnuntum, Austria is where you can find Netzl winery. While originally founded in 1860 as a multi-purpose farm, it wasnt until 1980 that Christine and Franz Netzl shifted the focus to grape growing. At the end of each September, each grape is hand harvested and vinified in wooden fermenters. This wine is dedicated to Franz and Christines daughters, Annemarie and Christina. This organic blend of Zweigelt, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon gives notes of juicy cherry and structured tannin. Dark berries and spice join together for a perfectly balanced wine. Pair this with duck and roasted vegetables.
