The grapes for this gem are sourced from StoneTree Vineyards, a go-to grower in the Wahluke Slope of Washington. The vineyards name comes from the petrified trees found throughout the area, which greatly enrich the soil. This wine bursts with ripe currant and plum jam aromas. Sweet pipe tobacco and juicy huckleberry dance on the palate, ending with a smooth and concentrated finish. This vintage was aged 18 months on once-used French oak before bottling. It is delicious on its own and would shine with a coal oven pizza.
