Passionate Wines was founded by Matias Michelini to make experimental wines which are expressive of the terroir in which they grow. ‘Del Mono Tinto’ is a co-fermentation of equal parts Malbec & Syrah, sustainably grown at an altitude of 3,700 feet and hand-harvested from vinyards in the Tupungato region of Mendoza’s Uco Valley. Fermented and aged only in inert vessels to allow the grapes to speak for themselves, Del Mono Tinto embodies the land with rich notes of plum, cocoa, & blackberry with a bit of pepper and spice. A terrific acccompanyment for grilled meats, particularily coupled with chimichurri.
