This family-owned wine company was established in 1979 and is a leader in South Australia’s organic and biodynamic winemaking. Paxton is made up of seven vineyards and lies in the McLaren Vale region which is known not only for being one of the most geologically diverse regions in the world, but also for its premium quality red wines. This 100% Shiraz is made from grapes from four of the vineyards and and is aged 12 months in French Oak. This wine can also be enjoyed now or cellared for 10-15 years. With notes of blackberry and black currant and a touch of oak, this wine pairs well with Taglitelle Bolognese or grilled meats.
