This family-owned Italian winery was founded in 2004 by Orlando Tondini, making it one of the youngest wine-growing companies in Gallura. Today, Orlandos four sons help him in the day-to-day including Antonio who works as the winerys Oenologist. Made up of 30 hectares of vineyards (half of which are Vermintino) that lie just 350 meters above sea level and are exposed to the moderate Mediterranean breezes and climate. Made from 100% Vermentino, this savory white is Tondinis flagship wine – its name a tribute to the town. Tasting notes of ripe fruit including mandarin oranges and pears, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of almond make this white an ideal pairing for seafood dishes and white meats.
